    One more thing! Can you help confirm what breeds I have? I got them from a farm that is trying to slow things down due to a heart attack! They're about 1 year old and are fairly good layers.

    Here's my improvised solution for extending the coop and run. It's not the best, but it has to work for now. The extension has two poop trays, and two roosts. It mates up with the red coop, but I'm not sure if the hens are even using it at night. I know they go under during the heavy rain...

    I did a coop addition to the back side of red coop. It adds another 4' of space to the coop and the run. I'll post a picture soon. I used wood I had on hand and left over supplies from my shop. I have a quick question and not sure where to post, so I'll try here. I built an auto waterer...

    Following the rules... We're in WA and just acquired 6 laying hens. The first mistake I made was buying what I thought was a hand made coop from urban northern...turns out its just a prefab, and quite smaller than the images in the website. I just added a 4x8 dog kennel for an extended run...
