Umm, yeah...what are you basing your numbers on @penny1960 ? Like @Krugerrand said, I have extra room for my girls. And, they only lay and eat in their coop, they actually roost in a tree that’s within their run. The run is enclosed and predator proofed from top to bottom
None of my 12 have shown any signs of broodiness. As of yet, they’re all of the mindset of being foot loose & fancy free...absolutely no interest in being “Barefoot & Pregnant”, lol!
