    How do you store your poultry feed?

    the main feeds are in metal trash cans and our treats we hang plastic grocery bags on a nail in the shed so the rodents cant ever get to them

    as much time as i spend in the backyard with the girls and Bluie the Roo i definatly say they are "Fun Chickens" i am not sure what to call the Girls as far as pets go, cause we dont even give them names :) but Bluie the Roo has a name so unless he becomes mean to the kids he is a pet of ours...

    our boy Bluie and the Girls made out ok through the Storm... We had one tree fall, and it landed in the yard instead of the "Hen Hotel" and run!!! We are so happy and Blessed it never landed on or near the girls... and on a plus side they have been scratching in the hole where the roots uplifted...

    Hurricane Sandy didnt hurt us to bad!!! one big tree fell in front of "Hen Hotel" and not on it so everyone is great!!! just a mess to clean up now! We are definatly blessed

    the weather is crazy here on the delmarVa, ESVA, Eastern Shore of Virginia!! The "Hen Hotel" is full here at our house (we even let Bluie the Roo in!) the birdies are doing well! all fed up today and they have plenty of water to drink in the run!! we keep looking through the window to check...

    not sure of the exact age of our hens but i know they are getting close to having eggs !!! The wife and i are getting very "EGG"cited about what is to come as far as filling the fridge :) and our son is ready to see them all :) the baby isnt old enough yet to enjoy the festivities but i am sure...
