    Jenn, I am in Western Iowa, and would like to know if you have any (4-8) hens that are already (or close to) laying eggs for a summer project for the kids. We won't have time to start with chicks this spring. Please let me know if you have anything available. I can't have Roosters in town...

    Wanted - laying hens for kids project - South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska

    I'm looking for 8-12 laying hens in the 1 to 2 year old range for a kids project. I won't have time to start with chicks so if anyone is in my area (near Elk Point, SD, Omaha, Lincoln, Sioux City, Des Moines) and willing to sell me some good laying hens, we'd appreacite it.
