So do layer food in pellets not crumbles and flock raiser or baby non medicated food correct?

All the chickens eat the medicated baby chick food also.

I was told to do scratch grains and layer food for my mixed flock. But on another thread they said scratch grains is candy... so would layer feed and flock raiser be a better combination?

I bought 10% iodine before I saw most people use 1% and 2%. Can I dilute the 10% enough to use in my gallon waterer's? Or 5 gallons if necessary.

Ok I read through all of these posts and didn't see anything regarding using 10% iodine. I have tried to use conversation but I don't want to hurt my flock. Does anyone know if I can dilute the 10%iodine solution into a 1 gallon waterer or a 5 gallon if necessary? Or is 10% to high to dilute...

Eventually I plan on having 2 pens 1 for meat birds 1 for laying hens. But probably not for another year or so.
