    I’m not sure what breed it resembles but she is GORGEOUS!! I thought “lilac Ameraucana” when I first saw the picture. Whatever you did, please share! I would love to get a flock of these!

    Noticed large bulge on newly hatched chick

    Just to update. The chick is walking around and mimicking it’s chick-mates! Although the bulge is still there, it doesn’t seem to be a nuisance. This baby does have personality and seems to enjoy a good cuddle tho! I attached photos for reference.

    Thank you! And it hatched 07-14-19 around 7 pm. I took the photo about 20 minutes after and checked on it this morning (07-15-19 about 4:30 am) the swelling seemed the same but it was moving around and drinking normally.

    Hello! I had a chick hatch last night that appears to be from a turken/naked neck. I noticed this large bulge on the back of its head. Not sure what’s wrong since the baby is acting normal. The chick is on the larger side too(big feet and a larger body than my 3 day old chicks). Can someone help...
