    Aye, I sure hope she was. I hope they start laying soon. Its only been just over a week but the other two are laying and they all seem fairly comfortable in their new home. I suppose I keep playing the waiting game!

    2 / 5 and has always been this way! Brand new to this...so hoping I didn't get scammed into the lady's old hens! She told me they were all 9 months old. Siiigh! how can you tell? Or just start with chicks to avoid such issues?

    I picked up my 5 hens, who were born last August, on Monday and have gotten 2 eggs..I assunme because they were already ready to pop. I know a move will disrupt their goings on but for how long normally? I'm brand new to this but it feels like I'm waiting for a baby to arrive hehe
