    thanks for the response. So that's what it could be... I checked on them again and it stopped! He sounds funny a bit but not bad. I'm still a new chicken parent so anything they do is alarming!(but normal to them) I'll keep an eye on them but thank you for this info.

    I went outside to check on my chickens and one of them was making this bawking/honking noise. That's the best way I can describe it..they are chirping and its too early for it to be bawking.(plus its not a usual sounding one if it is) They do this and shake their head I think they may have got...

    It was finally warm enough so we took them out. Thankfully the black one moved around alot! I'm still worried since compared to his fluffy yellow friend his feathers look messy and missing? It could be old feathers falling off but I'm not sure :/ @I Love Layers @junebuggena
