    Mucas from vent?

    All the hens are fed a laying mash. Layena i think its spelled. She has started laying again, about 1 egg every 3 days. The eggs are coming out intact but deformed. What is egg bound? I'm not familure with the term.

    Mucas from vent?

    One of my hens had dirty butt last week. After examining her I noticed that she had a gray/green mucas discharge. Her stool is solid and she does not apear to be losing weight. Currently she is seperated from the flock and they are showing no signs of illness. Any ideas? Thanks Bearclaw
