    *Buff Orpington Thread!*

Ok so I got this guy/gal around 6 weeks ago...approximate age then was 12 weeks. I'm thinking it was probably more like 10-11, so age now would be 16-18. No crowing or laying or squatting. I got more hen votes before but this just doesn't look promising. Thoughts? Also would he be crowing by now...

Probably BO Roo near Dallas may need new home

I think my BO is a roo. We're in the city so if he starts crowing, he'll have to go. Let me know if you're interested and you can have him if he starts crowing! Estimated age is 16 weeks.

    Missing neck feathers

Thanks!!! :-) Now I'll just dust everyone just in case and add more catfood in to their diet! Extra mealworms too! Luckily they're bug catching machines so that'll help protein too.

    Missing neck feathers

I'm both relieved and surprised! I had no idea they could molt this young!! I'll dust her just in case but now I won't be as panicked!! My 1 year old EE is also molting but VERY slowly....:-/

    Missing neck feathers

She's not even three months old so I doubt it's a molt. I've never heard of a bird that young molting.

    Missing neck feathers

I'm posting this here too hoping someone has an idea. My young RIR is missing her neck feathers. At first I thought they were just slow growing in after the down fell out but it's been way too long for that. She's healthy except for this. I've never seen anyone (two other chickens, one close to...
