Right, but I wasn't local. They even sent pics of shipping crates they send in. And since I had the first 3 ducks shipped to us I didn't even think anything of it!
Someone said they had 2 ducks and requested money via Venmo. They had a Facebook page with 5k followers, website, pictures and everything. Venmo blocked my payment and told me it was a scam. I googled the name and they have a bunch of reviews saying it's a fake page. :(
We got 3 ducks from a hatchery, and unfortunately 2 passed away. We have one duck that is 6 weeks old and we're trying to add 2 more asap so she's not alone. We can't wait 6+ weeks from a hatchery. I've tried searching Facebook groups but almost got scammed twice! I am in northern Illinois.
