    How long are brittle eggs “normal” for new layers?

    I had some brown leghorns that laid monster double yolkers when they first started laying. After a month or two they straightened out and started laying regular eggs.

    Good luck. Local small towns around me continually ban chickens. I always bring up the fact NYC allows chickens, no roosters but you can have hens.
