    Update….finally decided to give baby a dust bath. Could not find any mites or lice but was still disturbed over feather. And I love the results. Conclusion…… I decided because of the lack of time in the incubator, the oils needed to be dried up. Feel good about the results.

    Cute story I should’ve thought about the incubator. It was a good idea but this chick wasn’t the one I helped it was the one I pulled out early because it was picking at the one in the shell. This is a pic of the one I assisted and the feathers are well fluffed.

    Thank you for responding. I candled them and they all have strong veins and movement. But my next concern is…. will the high humidity for so long cause the chick to be too large to move to pip ? Oh to the learn of this all and from my mistakes
