    Rooster or Hen

    Thanks everyone! Unfortunately this lovely white bird got ate by a very mischevious fox. We have now enhanced the compound and the remaining 7 are safe!

    Thanks everyone, we have no eggs yet...and she has only grown a little bigger in the last 8 weeks...still no comb-is this normal? She is also super flighty and scared of everything...

    What kind of bird is this

    We picked up this bird and was told it was a silver laced wyandotte. Seeing's as it doesn't have a white feather on it...we have no idea. It is the smallest one out of the bunch compared to the barred rocks and rir. Ideas?

    Hello from Colorado

    Hello Everyone, My husband and I have embarked on raising chickens and can't wait for that first egg. The little ladies are about 10 weeks old now. This website has been a great resource for us so far. Thanks everyone!
