She's definitely our Head Chook, and a quick learner. I was expecting the Wyandotte to take lead position from all I've read but she's just that bit younger.
Interesting to read different perspectives on Orpington comb development - one member says slower, one says faster. I have heard that they tend to crow later then other breeds if that's much help, I'm waiting on verdict on two of mine who are 7 weeks old.

Oh wow worming knocks the chickens around! Thank you for sharing your journey and I'm glad Ruthie is feeling better again. I noticed my birdies are looking a bit tired and aren't their usual eager selves post worming, but it had to be done. Preventing is better then cure, I guess.
