    Easter eggers not laying yet

    Easter Eggers take a long time to mature. They will not start laying until they are 8 months old. I'm not sure how winter weather effects the maturity rate.

    I have a flock of Easter Eggers. I love them because they lay six eggs a week, are very friendly, and forage well. They do well in the Miami heat. Plus, the eggs are fun colors.
