I didnt take a picture. It was in the evening when I collected them and I don't know why I didn't take a picture. It didn't look like a blood clot, it was tan but covered in the blood since there was a lot of it in the egg.
She has now laid 2 normal shelled eggs but when I open them, there is a yolk and a bunch of blood inside. The one had this half inch chunk of something in it also. Now remember a couple months ago I opened 2 eggs with blood. I bet they were hers. I just thought it was because my one chicken laid...
She will be 3 years old July 15. She use to lay normal eggs. I didnt cut open the red blob but it did resemble a blood clot to me. I noticed the first soft shell egg a couple months ago. I wasn't sure which hen did it. Then I started to pay attention to who was laying and narrow it down to the...
I have a hen that stopped laying, she laid a couple soft shell eggs in the middle of the night while roosting. It's been awhile since she's laid or had a soft shell egg. A couple times I did notice her acting weird. Like walking with her tail feathers down, not eating. But then next day she's...
I have 6 maybe 7 cockrels looking for a home. Right now they are only 2 weeks old. If you have chicks that age and want to add a faverolle cockrel let me know. Pictures are of a couple chicks, and the parents.
Prior to knowing she had a tumor we talked about mareks and alv. I have ran a pcr test on a couple other birds when they were sick and they were mareks neg. I've also done alv testing and this chicken was tested twice and was neg. She said a pcr test is pretty accurate.
The vet told me...
Update. Tues it seemed like the medication wore off and she was back to herself, then yesterday she was showing neurological symptoms again. So I called a vet that sees chickens. I asked the vet about the metronidazole and she said that was a high dose for her and it could of caused the...
It definitely was the medication. She is back to herself now. Walking around fine, drinking and eating. Still don't think she eats as much as I think she should. Her poop is still runny and green, haven't seen the yellow today. But I am so relieved she isn't how she was this morning, that was...
Today is 50 here. She drinks the poultry cell fine. She does get fresh water too. I just didn't have it in there because I wanted her to drink the vitamin water only. She is getting better now. It had to be the medication. Shes eating and drinking now!

She is now just basically standing there. I think she drank now though. When I came out she looked like she just drank. A friend of mine said she read metronidazole can cause neuro symptoms. It is what it seems to be.
Sorry no the garage is probably not 80-85. I will have to add a heat lamp above her. That video was a hour ago. I'll take one now and up load. I added to m y previous message, not sure if you seen it
