    we candled last night and some of them didn't look like they developed but others still looked like there was a dark mass. didn't notice any movement. we put a new thermometer in there and i'm thinking our temps weren't high enough. I'm having to adjust it up and down now. Jenny

    Day 25 and no chicks of 30 eggs. Has anybody's eggs hatched beyond this point??? How long should we give them before starting over?

    Ants in the incubator!

    I just set our eggs today, and when I came home I had hundreds of ants building a nest in two places in the incubator! I wasn't sure if this would harm the eggs, so I cleaned them all out. I cannot find the source of the ants, so I am sure they will be back. Will these pesky little creatures...
