Hey there! I grew up in a suburb in West Michigan and have dreamed of living the farm life since I was a little girl. Well 2 years ago I bought a house with 2 acres and decided to start my own little homestead. I never thought I could love raising chickens as much as I do seeing how my dream was always horses and "one brown cow" (6 year old Brittany's dream 
). But here we are; 14 chickens, 3 ducks and a 735sqft garden plot on 2.5 acres.
I might not have years of experience but I have done countless hours of research on everything chicken related and I feel pretty confident in my ability to educate and inform people on raising chickens.
