Oh excellent! Well not so much because it brings us to culling them. I hope to hang onto the Easter egger for a bit longer and see how he fairs. I’m a bit excited as we did plan on birds for meat as well. Interesting predicament. Plucked many a bird but never a chicken funny enough.

Well just an update. I couldn’t take it anymore so I opened up the incubator to rescue my chicken baby. And it was all dried up on one side. So I set up a box and a heat lamp and took a warm damp paper towel and washed it up all nice and now it’s in the box separate from everyone else drying...

Hi! The coop is 140 sf and the run is 180 sf. (and once the fence is built your looking at a whole yard) Because of the shipping my egg lady said probably 50% hatch rate which is down from her normal 80%. so that's 10 eggs maybe that will hatch. Out of that 10 is 50% chance they're roosters...
