    Putting bottles of salt water inside waterers to keep them from freezing - Anyone done this?

    I have tried this and yes it does work. I even tried a 2 liter for my goats water. I didn't put enough salt in there to keep her water trough from freezing. There was a pocket that was still liquid but my ratios were off I'm sure.
