    How long do eggs last?

Ok, I had neglected to clean out the coop because of all the snow. So I opened it up today and was surprised to see that the chickens had quite a pile of eggs in the corner. I didn't know they weren't laying up in the box. It has been cold until recently and the membrane would be intact...

    Breeding

I have 6 Golden Buffs about half grown. I like them and understand they are a cross between RHI and White Rock. Not sure whether the cross is a result of a WHR hen and RHI Rooster or the other way around.

    Breeding

I know the answer to this is probably on here somewhere, but I couldn't find it. I want to get a rooster to breed one of my laying hens. When they breed, will the hen lay one egg a day or will she lay all her eggs in one day? Thanks, Bill
