We love our Buckeye hen - she's such a character and such a good layer -- Kids call her "Flash" -- I think because of the yellow legs -- she eats out of our hands and is a funny little girl.. :)

No biggie - kind of cool, actually.. (I'm bummed though, we can't keep roos here) At least he was the one that the kids were the LEAST attached to! It's funny how soon we started suspecting -- Bootsie (maybe to be called Butch now?) is standoffish and has the raspiest voice of...
Based on the pictures we've seen here we are wondering if our EE is a roo? -- Here are some pictures of "Bootsie". I don't know how old he/she is, but I had been guessing somewhere between 5-6 weeks? My kids and I would be so appreciative any thoughts on gender.
