Alright, so I got a diaper for my duck so he can spend time in the house without making a huge mess. Problem is he's scared of it and freaks out when I get it near him, let alone try to put it on him. What can I do to desensitize him? Thanks in advance.
My duck of the same breed got his quack around then. Males have a rasp, kind of squishy quack and females have the well known "QUACK QUACK". As of now you can't get a real answer with just their feathers. You might have to wait for their quacks.
I looked up images of Silver Appleyards and he looks just like them, minus the mallard head. Those pictures of him are pretty old, as his wing tips and tail have grown black.
I have a 13 week old male bantam duck and have no clue of his breed. He doesn't have the posture of an Indian Runner. Any help? Thanks!
This one is a bit dark. \/
Yes I've seen that thread and, , the soup idea worked! Somehow she didn't recognize her food I'm guessing so when I added it to some water she ate that and ran for her other food. I guess she's not the sharpest tool in the shed? She gave me quite the scare.
I don't know how long this has been happening but I did move her to a bigger place to live, can stress cause not eating? She is drinking and she is getting duckling mash.
HELP! My 3 weeks, 6 day old ducking Gouda is not eating! I know she is hungry because her tummy right under her neck is rock hard and flat; there is nothing in it. What's wrong? Will she be okay? Can I fix it?
Hi there everyone! My duckling Gouda, who's 3 weeks and 1 day old, was starting losing her tail feathers. She had these feathers since I got her at 4 days old and I was wondering if it's completely normal for her to be losing them? She only has her down, fuzz, and her tail feathers so I don't...
