    I got one that is worthless. She does not lay eggs. She eats, drinks, poops and sleeps. She is for sale. Free to anyone who wants her. lol!! Really she is a sweet girl to all the babies in her pin at the moment. Like any other chicken she loves to scratch around in the yard.

    Does this quail have a broken foot?

    Your quail should heal pretty fast. Quail are homicidal for sure. I added 3 day olds in a brooder with 7 day olds and the older quail killed most of the younger quail. Grab them by the leg and drag them across the brooder. Savage they are.

    Turkey Poult Killed by Duck that hatched it.

    We had a Rouen hen hatch 4 turkey eggs. She did a great job for 2 weeks. Yesterday I noticed 1 turkey poult dead. I was surprised. I continued my usual work about feeding the birds.
