    Your probably right, but I have one bird that is sickly and I didnt want to pay $40 for the safeguard liquid. I got 1lb of the pellets for $10. I can hand feed this one bird and it was no problem getting her the exact dosage today. Hand feeding is a no go for the rest of the flock though.

    For those of you having trouble with the math, Here is a quick way. For a 1lb chicken the min dose of the 0.5% medicated feed, is 0.00198lbs (0.898gr). Just take your chicken weight (weight in lbs) and multiply it times 0.00198 (for lbs) or 0.898 ( for grams). That is the amount of medicated...

    No. Your 1.7kg chicken would get a minimum of 0.00174 lbs (3.35 grams) of the 0.5% fendendazole medicated feed.
