    Bummer! We can't keep just one hen through the winter (too lonely and cold!), so we'all have to decide which rooster to keep until we get more girls in the spring! Thanks for your input, folks!

    Also, our known rooster, the Welsummer, has been fighting with our EE. S/he has a wound just behind the comb from it (which you can see in the first picture of her above).

    The EE is the reddish one in the middle in the picture above. Our EE has iridescent green feathers that are long and curved in her tail. His hairdo looks a bit boyish to me!

    I ordered 4 girls from My Pet Chicken. A Welsummer, WCB Polish, EE, and a Faverolle. The Welsummer turned out to be a rooster, and I know the Faverolle is a hen, but I'm concerned about the EE and Polish. They're looking like boys to me so far. They're 12 weeks old. What do you all think?
