    No ma'am, no problems, they're actually really pretty, just not as smooth as some I've seen. And the lady said the smoother they are the better chance at a good hatch. Mine will be 1 year old in July:) I do have a pic of a first egg that was laid back in mid Febuary. :)

    Thank you for the advice on the wire, we have 5 acres fenced in 4"x4" sheep wire with electric fence at the bottom. And the back half of the property is in barb & electric wire. I'm so scared he will throw some poison over like I think he did to my puppy that died:((

    No ma'am/sir, they were hatched inside in an incubator, & I think he said put outside at maybe 4 weeks old I can't remember. Is it possible they hatched eggs from hens that were too young thus not fully developed?? I had called them that evening I got home, they said they've never had a problem...
