Love the pics up top I live in northern NY and have a bad predator prob this year wasn't having much luck trapping so last night I did a walk every hour and shot a fisher a skunk and a coon all in about four hours I needed a win and I'm gonna be out there again to night 870 express!!!!
I shot a coon early this morning all that was left of my five Rhode islands about two months old was wings I have a really bad predator prob here in NY shot a fisher last night too trapping just was not doing it I lost a twenty bird flock in week twelve gauge time good luck and fight dirty lol
For sure and get the egg Turner's so u dont have to open that seemed to always spin my incs out it only took one year for me to take the leap to bigger better but I have a bird prob lol good luck to all
I am having a very hard time with predators right now I didn't shut my coop four days ago and lost six.so then the others were scared to go in there at night so they started going up in my work shed and wood shed now every night since I am loosing birds I have both live traps and paw snappers...
Only time will tell my cousins dog attacked my rooster earlier this year he couldn't even move really I laid him in the coop that night and in the am I opened coop and he came flying out like it never happened
If I could give one piece of advice witch probably was already said.if possible stay away from little giant incubators they are affordable but if u can't watch them constantly u will pay with eggs.they are very temperamental incubators
.I went to pick up some silkies and ended up with this guy too.any ideas on s breed I am fairly new I started with six chicks about two years ago now I have about thirty birds from chickens pheasants turkeys plus but still learning any help would be great
