    What’s On My Quail’s Eye?

A vet is not an option. Do you think the tumor is life threatening?

    What’s On My Quail’s Eye?

So, my coturnix quail has this bump right on his eye. I don’t know if it’s right below his eye, or on his eyelid, but he can’t open his eye at all. I think it’s a tumor, but any other ideas?

    Gender?

How do you tell the gender of my white peafowl? I think it’s around 4 months old.

    Oh, thank you.

    OEGB, but What Color?

I know he’s an OEGB, but I don’t know what his coloring is called. He has a dark gray chest, but is back is red and patterned like a BBR.

    Sexing pheasant

I only knew about the eye colors. I see the patch now.

    Sexing pheasant

If it’s the same two birds in all the pictures, then you have boys. @007Sean, am I correct?

What kind of quail is this?

It looks like a coturnix to me.

I could use some breed suggestions or a reality check.

Try a Beilefelder. The only boxes I don’t know if they check are the comb type and broodiness. I’ve hade them for maybe two years and had one go broody this year. I don’t pay attention to combs, so I don’t know on that one. I don’t free range mine, but I’m pretty sure that they’ll do fine.

    Is this a silky?

    I’m pretty sure that it’s a porcelain d’uccle. Here’s a picture of mine.

I Need To Get Rid of Mice WITHOUT Mouse Poison!

I’ve never heard of it before, but the reviews make it sound pretty effective. I’ll give it a try!

I Need To Get Rid of Mice WITHOUT Mouse Poison!

Any suggestions on how to kill mice without poison. I can’t use poison because my birds might eat the poisoned mouse. I already have cats, but they can’t get into the pens. I also have traps that when the mouse walks up the ramp, the ramp goes down, the mouse walks in, but can’t get out. What...

What to do with aggressive silver fox rabbit doe?

When I bred my aggressive rabbit, she calmed down a lot. She only attacked me the day after I bred her. I don’t think that she hurt the buck any. As for the actual breeding, I agree with @Livia Ammon.

    My show pigs

That’s good. Pigs can be stubborn but just keep going.

Maybe don’t give Cookie the treats when he runs back to his pen. Have you tried leading Cookie away from his pen so he can’t see it, then let your sister walk him?
