Hmmm ok, I use Nutrena for my chickens. But have never seen a duck food from them just the "all flock". I have 2 mos old ducklings with my adults so was trying to stick with a higher protein duck feed, at least for the moment.
I appreciate your help! I will look more at the nutrena brand
Essentially yeah, just corn free feed, true, I hadn't thought about meal worms eating corn 😅 she just stated for dietary reasons she can't consume eggs from birds fed corn. I'm not sure how the corn effects the eggs too much 🤔
Hello!
I recently had a client tell me she can no longer purchase duck eggs from me if they eat a feed with corn. So I'm curious what options there are for feeds without corn, but im also on a budget.

I agree, natural products can be just as harmful in some cases, or prolong issues because they don't actually treat the issue. I've seen it many times in the...
We have a ton of wildlife and birds in our area. Run is open air and too large to enclose completely, sadly.
I will avoid the boxes for sure. Thanks! 😊

Is there an egg withdrawal period?
Hmm maybe the picture isn't a good representation, but they are definitely mites.

Thanks!
Hello BYC!
Ok age old question regarding Mites....when we bought this property in June the existing coop looked like it hadn't been cleaned, well... ever! It was in my opinion more burn worthy then salvage worthy. none the less, I cleaned out all the old bedding, ripped out all the interior...
