    Sadly the first chick that externally pipped before the others, didn't make it failing to zip but 16 others did hatch! Pretty happy with my first try at incubating.

    It had externally pipped but sadly then died overnight. Too much humidity??? However, 4 others have now hatched successful my. I'm thrilled!

    Thank you so much for your support. I think I'll leave mum and chicks in the stable for a couple of weeks as there is plenty of room and I shut it up at night to keep out predators. PS is that a Pyrenees guarding your chooks?
