I am trying laying chickens for the 1st time. 5 Barred Plymouth Rock chicks is what I decided to start with based on a recommendation from an old rancher at the feed store. I also keep honeybees and love, love, love to garden. I also have a 12 year old Chocolate Lab & a husband.
