    So I just had 2 silkie/ red Rhode Island mixes hatch. Mom was the silkie. So my question is, what will it look like? They have the 5 toes and feathered feet. They are smaller. They do not have the blackish skin or turquoise face that the mama had. Any ideas?

    Weird blue on newly hatched chick

    So I just realized what it's from. In the water tray I put a drop of blue food coloring in the water because I can never tell if it is full! Lol it must have touched it lol!!
