    Externally pipped but not internal pip

    I had several when I woke up. Some already moved to brooder they were dry and wanted out. Lol A few laying on side and won’t stand. Hopefully they will get better.

    I am incubating bobwhite quail. I’m on day 23. They externally pipped 24 hours ago and nothing had happened since then. What should I do? I don’t see any movement or hear chirping. How long can they go after they externally pip?

    Incubating bobwhite quail

    I have a kebonnix incubator and I’m not sure how I set the quail eggs in there. I don’t want them hitting each other. First time doing quail eggs.

    Silkie hatch

    I hatched 3 silkies yesterday. I toile them out of incubator this morning and put in brooder with some week old lavenders. One was not doing well after awhile and was lethargic. I have put him in incubator tonight for another 24 hours. Is that safe to do? I put a little food and water in there...
