    I just lay 3 foot welded wire on the ground. 2 feet outside the run, 1 foot inside. Most animals will try to dig right at the fence. They hit the welded wire get frustrated and head else where. Also, when the girls dig their dust baths they don't undermine the fence. The grass grows up...

    Holy cow BUGS BUGS EVERY WHERE! This warm "spring" has brought out the bugs. Went to visit grandpa and while away the caterpillars played. Stripped my blueberries to sticks. Those black beetles our "smart" government imported to get rid of the kudzu are taking out just about everything...

    I keep the bugs down with DDT keep with weeds down with straight diesel fuel ... Wait a second .... oh ya, I stopped doing that in 1950. Now I use geneically modified cyborg robots to keep the weeds and bugs down while processing my soylent green... Wait a second ... oh ya, that hasn't happened...

    Sounds like you have too much water pressure. Go to the garden store/ wally world and get a pressure reducer. They drop the pressure to 20psi.

    What in heavens name could be happening with my horse

    I think the vet recommended the senior diet to put on weight. 13 is very young IMHO. Our oldest horse was 38 when we had to put him down.
