Love this! Thank you for posting. I am in the mids of planning my chicken garden with seeds arriving just today! I am very happy that I have some of what you have mentioned. I will purchase the other plants you have suggested. Thank you again. Great article!
Looks like we are going to have a stormy weekend, so probably a good time to try lock them in. One of the younger ones put herself to bed in there last night though! I felt like I had won the Lottery
Looks like that’s what I will have to do.
I’m finding it interesting that the location of their old house seems to be what is drawing them back. I moved the tree branch to behind the foundations, now most of them are sleeping on the foundations, almost completely exposed. Makes me wonder if I...
Hmm 3 weeks is definitely doable.
Was your coop in the same Location as the last one? I’m wondering if that is part of why they keep going back the the foundations of the last one

I had a great set up with a “main house” which also had their food and nesting...
So she had been in isolation for a week and I was starting to believe it was malnutrition. She is the smallest and possibly wasting getting to the food. The wobbly head thing did go away. However, my young son was holding her while I cleaned her cage and accidentally put her down. She very...
Hey everyone, I have a 3.5 month old Silkie. Her growth has slowed right down and is now much smaller than her siblings. Most concerning though, is when she is sleeping she has a head wobble. Seems to be eating and drinking ok and mobility and movement when awake seems fine.
All others in the...
