Hi, hope you can help me.
I lost my two battery hen chickens years ago leaving my Dutch cuckoo bantam hen alone so I decided to buy two more to keep her company. I brought two Belgium D'anvers and they have sorted there pecking order out and they have been living happily for about a year now...
Hope this is ok to post.
Hope someone can help me with some information about the Hybrid chickens (rescued battery hens)
The question is about how the accommodation can effect the health of the hybrid chicken? some examples are;
Also what size is a hybrid chicken?
Thank you for your help

This chicken has now got feeling in its feet! Still can't mover legs but when putting my finger under her toes I could feel her trying to grab on and she has been wiggling her toes which I am so pleased about!!
Hopefully onwards and upwards.
Thank you for the help and the support everyone. I just hate seeing animals sick or ill etc. will try her with marmite I think they will all like that. This chick is the smallest chick out of the 3 she came with. Hopefully she will get better.
We have had chickens for years, our first 3 chickens died gradually over the years until this year we had one left (we took in all the unwanted chickens) so now we brought 3 other little chickens for the sage who is about 2, the smallest one has gotten ill. We don't have anything professional...
We are starting to think that she came to us with it because when we first got her she had one bad leg which we thought that it would heal its self. We have had her for about a month now?
