I didn't assist her. I happened to walk into the backyard & saw her Looking between her legs while standing & watched the egg come out along with her vent. I would take your girl to the Vet. She has to suffering after 3 days.
There was a Huge egg. I watched her Lay it & watched the Prolapse happen.
That is when I treated her with a Epsom Salt Bath & sugar. I wouldn't use the Sugar until you get the egg out.
My Hen's Crop Looks a bit bigger than all the rest of my Chickens.

This happened to My Leghorn. I gave her a warm bath in Epsom Salts & with Rubber gloves on, put Sugar around her Vent for 3 days & kept her inside a dog crate. The Sugar Helps the Vent go back inside. Preparation H also helps with the swelling. My hen went back outside with her flock 3 days later.
I have Noticed one of My Hens doing a Funny Head Movement the last couple days & open mouth breathing.
Her Breath is Not sour & her Crop is a bit swollen & squishy.
I separated her from the flock this afternoon with Water Only.
