Well, good news!
Our injured hen is back up on her own as of Sunday.
Was tending to one of our older ewes this afternoon, chickens in tow and she laid her first egg in weeks by our feeders.

Local vets are at a premium these days and usually won't deal with issues involving chickens in our neck of the woods.
Will be looking into the links you passed along but thinking she damaged the nerves as you suggested.

One of our young black sex link hens was hung up and inevitably suspended by one leg by our wire fencing for a short time.
Since then, her leg drags behind her and is unable to move.
Her hip doesn't seem dislocated and no broken bones that I can feel during inspection.
