    Hi, newbie here.

    Hello everyone. I have had chicks now for almost a year. None of my hens were laying when I got them. Now they are and apparently breeding. I just hatched 2 baby chicks from one of my golden comets. I am tenderly trying to take care of them but have not sexed them. Right now they are just adorable.

    Started to open a seemingly 'dead' egg to see what happened, chick seems to still be alive!

    I just now went through my first hatching. The mother hen quit laying on her first clutch. Lost 6 of the 7. One was still in early stages so I bought an incubator for it.
