Hi there. Think our three ladies might have scaly leg mites? I only noticed today so waited until they were sleeping to check (they are impossible to catch otherwise). It's been very very wet recently (we live in Ireland so it's always wet here) and the back garden is pretty much just a muck...
It also looks like one of the chicks has a mutant back toe. I thought it was five toed at first but it's only on one foot, and it looks like the chick doesn't have any control over it. It just kind of flaps. Should I be concerned?
It seems to be the general consensus that she is part silkie anyway. What about silver sebright?
