Well I must say what a fantastic result I've had with my latest batch of hatching eggs, six out of six so far, another twenty five to go. I did as suggested and removed six eggs that had small specks of yellow on the shell, so thanks for that advice.
I manage to hatch a pekin partridge bantam, my wife fell in love with it straight away, they cuddle up most nights and watch tv. I took this as a green light and now have more eggs in the incubator than you can shake a stick at, she knows about the ones in the incubator but not about the ones...
Chicken nutty , well I think it makes more sense that a waste disposal unit that I saw recently on TV , I've had my chucks for years and wouldn't be without them. I've got the bug now for hatching too, my god is is addictive or what. Funny how I can crack open a lovely fresh egg for breakfast...
