Feeding organic, and not getting my chicks vaccinated.

I am not necessarily 'considering' organic feed. I know that if I get chicks or chickens I will most definitely use organic feed. I have already known this for quite a while, as I myself and my family eat organically... I plan on eating and feeding my family the eggs the hens will be providing...

Being that I would be getting organic chicks, that mean the chicks will NOT be vaccinated. I am interested to see who else is getting organic chicks, is...

    Vaccinating your chicks

@Pyxis Is it a disease that the flock was born with and can pass on? And does that mean that there eggs are still edible/healthy enough to eat? Thank you!

    Vaccinating your chicks

Good decision! I would never vaccinate my chicks.

    Vaccinating your chicks

I disagree. I live organically, and do not believe that vaccinating our chicks and chickens is a good idea. Besides, all things happen for a reason. But if you don't vaccinate, and make sure your chickens immune is strong, you will most likely not run into problems. All things happen for a...
