    I have the same problem! I have tried extra straw on the bottom to catch it. 6 weeks now with the same pullet! I have thought about a hanging net to catch them that hopefully the poop would drop through too!:idunno

    My girl will be a year old in June, and her comb and wattles are red (well, white earlobes) but small. I live in Boyne City. It could be that she was ready to lay when it was too cold, and now it's still too cold. Egger and buff orpingtons are laying machines! Thanks!
