I have the same problem! I have tried extra straw on the bottom to catch it. 6 weeks now with the same pullet! I have thought about a hanging net to catch them that hopefully the poop would drop through too!:idunno

My sweet little silver phoenix hen is almost a year old, and no eggs! The other ladies (buff orpingtons, easter egger) are laying like fools already, but no such luck with the phoenix. I know they are not great layers, but sheesh!
