    Howdy, where are you located? A complete and balanced feed of at least 24% protein should be fed to gamebirds. Most feed stores carry gamebird feed.

    Hi Sean, I'm in the UK. He is just eating chick crumb at the moment which is 20% protein, i could only find 20KG bags of gamebird feed online which is just too much for one bird. I have gave him a few small bugs today and he loves them. Can't really hand him in to any wildlife reserves because they are considered vermin! Could not resist taking the egg home when i found it, either that or dinner for a fox.

    If you can add some dry cat food to its feed that will increase the protein level, cat food in general is 30% protein. Yeah, the UK has different laws considering the wildlife than the US has...wish you the best of luck.
