    I felt around on her crop and it seems empty today. We did check her all over for any injuries and can't seem to find anything. Should I be pushing upward or straight in when I check for an egg in her vent?

    I don't think she is broody. She doesn't seem to want to be on the eggs. Just very lethargic.

    No fuss at all. And normally our Australorps are not as welcoming to being touched or picked up. She was completely ok with it throughout this.
