What do you think about Omlet coops?

They wouldn’t take it back because we didn’t keep packaging. Oops… Sold it almost at retail price to someone wanting it for rabbits.

What do you think about Omlet coops?

The thing to keep in mind that like a third of the dimensions are the nesting box, which they shouldn’t be sleeping in. Also, the ventilation didn’t seem like enough, from what I recall.

The cube. My husband ended up building our coop.

What do you think about Omlet coops?

They’re very small. We ordered one and once we saw it assembled in real life, decided it wasn’t near big enough for our four birds, in spite of its advertising.

    Hello from Sydney AUST

We have a black australorp named Sydney and a blue australorp named Bluey (like the cartoon) to honor their Australian heritage. 😂

    Australorp gender

Thank you! We recently had to pass along a cockerel to a family member, and my kiddo was so sad. Am glad we won’t have to send another away! ❤️

    Australorp gender

Hello. I have a black australorp (12 weeks, I’m pretty sure) and a blue australorp (11 weeks, I’m pretty sure). It strikes me as odd that they’re both the same breed, but feather shapes are so different. The black has such skinny feathers. Please tell me this isn’t indicating that one is a cockerel!

Makes sense. True that compost is far superior to landfill!

That’s destined for compost? Why? It looks like perfectly edible produce…

    Compost troubleshooting

I’ve been asking a neighbor for their grass clippings to give us extra green to offset all the brown. We add water if it seems too dry… We’re new to this volume of composting, but it seems to be working pretty well.

    Thoughts? The comb seems big?

    Adding another chick

And one of the ones we have now is a cockerel we’re going to have to re-home to some family, so we’ll be left with 4. And hopefully no more cockerels!
