Dont worry I use insecticides as well but they always come back. They also get spotted with ivermectin but its all short term alleviation of the problem it seems. Wild birds bring them.

It sounds like some kind of fit. Never had a hen do this but we did have a cockateil who had fits. She got to 13 then had a massive one and had to be put to sleep. Sounds like all you can do is wait and see what happens. Maybe someone else will be able to advise you better.
