    I I am using the turner for the first time and love it. I don't have to turn the eggs myself. We candled last night and saw all the chicks clearly inside moving around. So far so good.

    Official BYC Poll: How many chickens do you have?

    I currently have 12 chickens. But need (want) more. Just fell in love with the Swedish Flower Hens. How many chickens do you have to have to be considered a chicken hoarder anyway?

    So really what breed are these.

    For the mites, I use an old salt shaker filled with DE and a small amount of Sevin. Dusted the birds well at bed time in the coop. Also, clean coop thoroughly and dust it. Provide a dusting bath for the birds. They will love it. Put some DE in the dust bath.
